RETURNS & EXCHANGE

Holiday Returns: Please note our returns window is extended over the holiday period. Any purchases made in December will be eligible for return until Jan 16th. 

As a small company with limited resources and small stock quantities, we kindly ask that you shop responsibly. We have provided clear size-guides for each garment. Please study these carefully before ordering. We are always here to help, so do ask us if you have sizing questions.  We will give you honest advice about the fit of a style and whether or not it will suit.

If you wish to return or exchange your items please return them to us within 21 days of receipt. You can process your return online, via the Daydress returns portal. 

Your return needs to reach us within the 21 day window in order to be eligible for a refund.

You will need your order number which is a 5 digit number preceded by a #, e.g.  #12345.

We ask that you return items as you received them; unused, folded and with original tags intact. Please ensure you send back the cotton bag your order arrived in - a £2.50 deduction will be applied to orders returned without their cotton bag.

You will receive notifications when your return is delivered to us and when your refund or exchange is processed (which should be within 5 working days of receipt).

UK RETURNS

Please note that Daydress doesn't cover return shipping, except for exchanges and shop credit within the UK via our portal. £5 return shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you return 3 or more items, a further £5 per item will be deducted. If you are returning an item that has already been exchanged, a £5 return shipping charge will be deducted from your refund or credit.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

Returns from outside of the UK need to be shipped at your own cost. You can use our portal to log your return and select our return courier (recommended) or self-ship option. Returns of 3 or more items will be subject to higher return shipping costs.  

If returning self-ship, we would recommend wrapping the order securely and lightly using a tracked service with your local post office (eg. USPS for US returns). You can return the order without the original box which will lower the costs significantly. We recommend that you obtain proof of posting or insure the return shipment as you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and will be liable for damage or loss until we receive them at our warehouse. 

For international returns please mark clearly "BRITISH RETURN GOODS - CLOTHING" as a description of contents on all paperwork provided by your chosen carrier. If this indication is not clearly stated, custom duty charges may be applied and the amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund. Use your original ORDER NUMBER as reference on your return shipping label and invoice.

TAXES & DUTIES REFUNDS

Please note, for orders placed from 4th Sept 2025 onwards using our Fedex International service your refund or store credit will now include your duties & taxes. For orders placed before this date with DHL or Royal Mail International you will need to apply to your local courier to get these refunded.

EXCHANGE ORDERS

UK exchanges will be sent out via Royal Mail 48 Tracked service. Your exchange will be processed as soon as your return is in transit back to us (provided you use our returns portal). You will receive a shipping notification when your exchange is shipped with a tracking number.

Unfortunately, we're no longer able to offer International Exchanges. Please return your order and place a new order. 

FAULTY ITEMS

For faulty items, please notify us immediately and we will endeavour to arrange a speedy replacement. Daydress does not take responsibility for items returned in a damaged condition without prior notice.

Sale items are returnable for exchange or shop credit. 

Earrings are non-returnable for safety/hygiene reasons.
