All of our original Daydress prints are produced by hand in Jaipur using small carved wooden blocks individually dipped into trays of pigment. Each dress is fully lined in the softest cotton with all-essential pockets and a choice of different lengths or sleeves.

We are now working with the AMAZING WomenWeave
Based in the holy town of Maheshwar in Madya Pradesh, WomenWeave is a charitable trust teaching some of India's poorest women the hand-weaving skills to ensure both theirs and their children's futures are bright! I was lucky enough to visit the WW workshops in December 2017 and was amazed by this enterprise - the only one of its kind with a creche for toddlers, the only patch of grass in the town where the children love to play cricket after school, but most importantly where the women working are financially independent, have been taught the skills to support themselves now and in the future and are preserving the beautiful craft of hand-loom. On top of this - the cotton khadi cloth they weave is very stylish! Stripes and checks in amazing colour palattes. Whereas much hand-loomed cloth is wonderful stuff - it is hard to know whether the weaver was paid well. Most are not. This is NOT the case at WomenWeave where all the woman are paid a fair and proper wage for their hard work.
