Style & Fabric

We think of our soft and cosy quilted jackets as somewhere between a cardigan and a coat, depending on the season. They are easy to layer and always bring comfort, style and warmth to an outfit.

The Pierre is stitched from block printed cotton cambric, lined in a contrast spot block print with a frill at the hem and piped and finished with fabric knot and loop bottoms.

About the Print

Simple but impactful, the new Petal block-print plays on the silhouettes of winding flowers and leaves, redrawn from an 18th century original textile.

This piece was hand block printed, cut, stitched and finished entirely with our close partners in Jaipur. Each design is produced in small batches of around 30-50 pieces to ensure exclusivity and complete control and care in production. 

Sizing & Fit

Steph is 5'10", Priya is 5' 8"

Sizing Note: The Pierre jacket is designed to fit closely so if you'd like to wear over a jumper we recommend sizing up. 

It is stitched and stuffed with soft cotton wadding. 

Please check the size guide for your perfect fit. While an XS is approximately a UK 8, and an S a UK 10 etc, there is no such thing as standard sizing and the only way to be sure the dress will fit is to measure yourself. Measure chest around the fullest part. 

All our Daydress garments and homewares are produced in small batches using techniques and textiles which place them miles away from the world of fast fashion.

These items require special care; Looked after properly, they will last a lifetime but please read your care label and the advice below carefully before washing your Daydress for the first time!

Darker and pigment rich prints can be delicately dry-cleaned to preserve their colour. If your product is dry-clean only this will be indicated on your care label. 

For all other Daydress garments you can machine-wash these at home on a short, cold cycle for delicates. For best results gently dab away marks before you wash and use natural detergent (one that doesn't contain bleach/lighteners).

Do not leave damp in the machine overnight!

Use a medium iron on the reverse or, we love using a small hand-steamer (Propress or The Steamery do a good one).  Just slip it between the lining and outer layers for a great finish or to freshen up the garment between washes.

Please note that the block-print on the under-arm area of dresses can be affected by perspiration and deodorant and the friction which naturally occurs whilst wearing.

UK Delivery

For UK orders we offer shipping via DPD (Next Day, £7.50) and Royal Mail (2-3 working days, £4.50 / Free Delivery on orders over £200.) 

Orders placed after 1pm will be dispatched the following working day.

Please provide your mobile number if you'd like SMS notifications from DPD. The account we use to send DPD parcels is called Brand Hangar so your email or SMS will read "We'll deliver your BRAND HANGAR parcel".

International Delivery

All international orders are shipped DDP (delivery duty paid) meaning the shipping and tax/duty is calculated and paid at checkout, so you do not have to pay anything on receipt of your parcel. You will be provided with a breakdown at checkout of shipping, taxes and duties included in your total. 

US Customers

All our prices for the USA now include all duties & fees. You will not see a breakdown of duties at checkout as your product price is inclusive of these fees.  Your shipping fee is separate but you can shop with confidence that all fees are covered at checkout and you should not be contacted by Fedex or customs for additional customs charges.

Please note: Our duties paid Fedex service started on 3rd September 2025. Orders placed before this date and shipped via Royal Mail or DHL will still be subject to taxation by your country & local government.
